I had originally sought out the care of Dr. Wilson to help me learn about my hypermobile body and my POTS diagnosis. Since then, I have received even more serious diagnoses and by the time my appointment date came up with Dr. Wilson we had a lot of talk about.nnI felt so heard and supported, it was almost unbelievable because I have been gaslit by medical providers for a long time due to having an invisible illness. Most recently we had to reach out to Dr. Wilson while I am admitted at OHSU after trying to navigate a really challenging complicated situation- Dr. Wilson’s office responded right away and was very helpful even communicating with the OHSU team about what I needed at the moment.nnI would recommend, and I actually have recommended, Dr. Wilson to close family and friends now.

I see Dr. Karon. She came as a recommendation from my acupuncturist. I have never felt so listened to by a doctor. I was used to being brushed off and spending most of the time waiting for my provider to actually see me. With Dr. Karon, she understands that having a conversation before taking my blood pressure really eases the nervousness that I get and my blood pressure no longer looks bad. I think a lot of places are more focused on the process and not the people. I am more comfortable with my body. She has done some body work with me that includes abdominal massage and it helped demystify a lot of feelings I was having for my stomach. I highly recommend her! She listens and cares and won’t make you feel embarrassed to talk about issues you’re having.

I have seen both Drs. Karon and Wilson. Both are fantastic practitioners and have great bedside manners. They are both also very knowledgeable and actually listen to what you have to say. The front office staff is excellent and always take the time to walk you through whatever it is you need. Nurture Integrative makes sure you know what your out-of-pocket expense will be if you are out-of-network with insurance. With an in-network visit, they function the same as every other medical office. Pay your co-pay and settle up with insurance. My visits have always resulted in feeling heard and seen and with the feeling I’ve gotten the best care available. Dr. Wilson’s specialty makes her unique and her kind and caring demeanor allows for a feeling of safety. I cannot recommend this clinic, this staff, and these providers enough. Go see them. You won’t be disappointed.
