Providence Immediate Care - Scholls

Excellent service! Friendly staff. The Nurse Practitioner I saw was very thorough and took the time to listen to me and to answer my questions. I didn't feel rushed. She really cares and is very good at what she does. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

I went to immediate care late afternoon yesterday, I probably waited 7 minutes in the waiting lounge when the provider called me.nShe was very professional and very kind. She spoke my languages so it made my time very agreable.nIt was my ever first visit at Providence and I loved it.

I had a swollen finger for a couple of days, and when it started to get worse, I decided to see a doctor. On Sunday afternoon, I checked in at Providence Immediate Care on Scholls. To my surprise, I was the only patient in the reception area, which meant I was able to see the doctor almost immediately.nWhen Dr. Nguyen walked in, I recognized him right away as he had treated my older son on several occasions when he was a toddler years ago. After examining my middle swollen finger, Dr. Nguyen explained that it was infected and told me he would need to make a small cut. He warned me it would hurt.nHe picked up a surgical knife and made a tiny incision near my nail. Nervous, I closed my eyes. Then Dr. Nguyen said, “Look.” As he gently pressed on my finger, a large amount of pus drained out. Once it was cleared, he cleaned the area, applied a Band-Aid, and prescribed me a week of antibiotics.nMy overall experience with Providence and Dr. Nguyen was excellent. I’m grateful he treated me right away, relieving the painful buildup before it could get worse. With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I now have one more thing to be thankful for....

I went in and was seen very quickly. Nurse Violet and Dr Williams were amazing. They both listened to my concerns and showed compassion and made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. They have been the best staff I’ve seen throughout my visits here!
