Salon Annora

Salon Annora is a Southeast Portland gem! My stylist (and the owner) Katy is an expert in both cut and color and truly understands curly hair (and all hair types). The salon is warm, welcoming, and woman-owned—everything you want in a local spot. I always leave feeling confident, cared for, and loving my hair!

Monica has always been so professional and has had great advice. She is always on time and efficient without feeling rushed. I’ve been coming to her since 2009 and I’m so glad she landed here at Salon Annora. It’s cute and cozy with great decor. Everyone is always in a great mood and so personable. Definitely recommend!!!

Salon Annora is perfect for whatever your hair needs may be. I love Katy who listens to what I want and also helps me understand what my hair can and can't do. Her color expertise is beyond compare. I have been going to Katy for several years and I've been lucky to see Salon Annora grow. Each hair professional brings talents that expand the appeal of the Salon. I'm seeing women like me - professional, close to retirement but also younger clients who are looking for something that fits their lives and interests. It is attractive, easily located and has a great energy. Not too loud or too quiet, just right!

Katy and I are working toward returning to my natural color which is gray. Katy was amazing I never would have been able to complete this process without her talent and vision. She worked with me on a plan to move to a lighter color and blending the hair so it looks natural. The pictures show how my hair transitions from brown with highlights to nearly completely gray. It was a difficult decision to let my hair go to natural gray because I thought I had no other option other than living with that gray strip that is a dead giveaway. When I told Katy that I wanted to go gray, she was excited and upbeat as she always is. She was able to work up a plan. She explained and assure me that I could still have a nice look while letting my gray hair grow. As always she did a great job. She always takes her time being thoughtful and precise with the color change which was to get the hair as light as possible and let the gray blend in. She is really an artist. I could not be happier. The ambiance at the salon is more of Katie’s vision, beautiful artwork, plants and a calming atmosphere.nPatricia Ancharski

Katy had a last minute cancellation and was able to squeeze me in. I’d never booked with her until my friend recommended her. Katy was very communicative and friendly I told her what I had in mind and she took it from there. She discussed some options and gave advice.nNot only is Katy a naturally talented stylist, she’s very experienced, she’s friendly and has a positive attitude. She also took a minute to explain how the various types of color methods will affect my hair long term. She loves what she does. I sincerely had such a great time with her.! I’ll be returning next again next time I’m in town! 💇‍♀️
